Jewelery store robbed after explosion

Roosendaal, The Netherlands – A jewelry store on the Rosada was robbed early Tuesday morning, 1 March, by presumably four men. The perpetrators entered after an explosion at the entrance door.

The incident happened around 4 a.m. The perpetrators rammed open one of the entrance gates with a car. Then they drove two scooters to the jewelry store. They gained entry to the store by detonating an explosive device near the door. Presumably four men committed this heist. Several display cases were destroyed in the case, after which they made off with a large amount of jewelry. The perpetrators fled on the two scooters. The car was abandoned and towed away for further investigation.
